Sigrid Anne Menard, M.S. holds a Masters Degree in Counseling with a specialization in Career Development from California State University, Sacramento, where she also completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and actively participates locally in Career Counseling and Development Association as a panel speaker and event coordinator.
As Executive Director of CAREER Q Counseling and Life Preparation, Sigrid has had notable success in assisting individuals with planning their futures in careers and educational endeavors. Extensive experience in the corporate world of work, travel, and pursuit of her own artistic expression and soul's purpose, complement her abilities to facilitate others in their quest for meaningful, prosperous and creative work lives. Recently contracted for "corporate insourcing", she has counseled employees in developing and managing their careers, utilizing company tuition reimbursement plans, allowing businesses to retain valuable workers. Her success has helped workers to grow within the same corporation and allowed many Northern California businesses to retain a more advanced, happier work force.
As an adjunct counselor, instructor, and certified California Community College Learning Specialist on faculty at American River College in Sacramento, she continues to develop a diverse population of students with a multitude of needs.
